As for your lizard people, we've pretty much killed 'em all off. Sure, one or another will pop up in the statehouse or be elected to Congress (you can tell 'em by their forked tongues) but eventually they're taken care of as folks out here have always done. When we find their eggs we burn 'em, of course, in a funeral crematory. Haven't found any viviparous ones yet but we know how to deal with them too.

Their hides make pretty good boots.
