Joan paid me a visit or two at my home in Edmonton sometime between 1980 and 1982. I felt honoured to spend time with her doing a bit of music in the dining room. She had a wonderful, strong and lyrical voice, magnificent songwriting talent and warm personality. I think of her very often and was sad when she passed away. Her songs remain in my heart and mind; thank you so much to her brother Paul for posting the videos on youtube and to those of you in this thread who transcribed them so they can be kept alive.
