If one immerses one's self in cant, jargon, slang & buzzwords most of the time, communication may soon be limited to those who also speak your _sub language.

It's fine to trade in-group chat with others who share your sub-culture, but if you cannot shift into 'basic' accepted standards when applying for a job or explaining what you do, don't be surprised if the jobs go to others and a fair % of folks ignore you.... yaknowhatimean?
