Heard a song on a Folk Channel out of Boston. Don"t know Artists or many of the words and it's driving me crazy. The general gist was this guy left wife and daughter , went sout to border. I think he got a job in a liquor store and ended up driving his car off a pier. How uplifting!!!!! The only words I remember were "______ ______ doesn't live here anymore." "____________shoes outside your door."

I know this is nuts, but can anyone help?
