Yep, I played cheapo guitars for donkeys' years, Al - mostly Yams, but also a Tanglewood and a Heartwood (The Music Room's 'own label' range). But I don't feel any need to apologise to anyone for picking up a few pricier ones in the past ten or fifteen years - I worked and paid my taxes for fifty years, paid off my mortgage, raised my kids, paid for my divorce and my second wedding,nI've never smoked, I don't drink alcohol (medical necessity), I don't run expensive cars, I haven't got a motor-home or a caravan, I don't have a Harley, I don't spend fortunes on expensive clothes....but I like what I consider to be nice guitars and mandos.

I guess we all have our weaknesses! 👍😄
