Last year a fellow musician in our local Songwriters group gave me the honor of singing one of his (many, excellent) songs with him in our concert. I sang it alone on Sunday, to this same friend as he is dying of a brain tumor. I'll sing for him again tonight with the folk chorus to which I've belonged more than twenty years.
