I"mmmmmmm baaaaack!!!! Actually, the storm was pretty tame around my neighborhood. A few trees knocked out power and wells, of course. The coastline was a bit worse. The main highway 98 is washed away for a good many miles, lots of flooding of homes in the area and some damage. Only two fisherman lost their lives.... though. Opal was way way scarrier! Kate did more damage here in 1985 in Tallahassee. We were so lucky... If you all have ever heard the song "Andrew of 92", I'm so glad we didn't have one like that! Thanks for the reassurance and diversion. I admit I was scared... Having been in some mighty rough storms sailing on Lake Huron in the 60's with my family, I have a healthy respect for wind and water! I loved the songs! a slightly soggy harpgirl
