So sad this morning to learn that Art Thieme died. He had MS and some years ago he and his wife moved into a nursing home. Mudcat members twice raised money to send him computers, and the first time it was our beloved Katlaughing who spearheaded that. I'm glad Mudcat as a group was able to help Art share his music with the world. He converted all of his cassette disks to CD and sent them to the Smithsonian (at their request!).

We had more torrential rains overnight. It's a lovely clear morning now and my front yard is again in desperate need of a mow, but the grass and soil are too wet. Maybe tomorrow, if it doesn't rain again tonight. The back yard is a jungle - I've given up on most of it until this rain event passes. I mow close to the house, paths to the back gate and the compost and the garage, and paths to the garage, and one to the fence where I say hello to the neighbors.
