Or King of the Mounties, or Benji, quite small,
But Gluon the Duckdog's the best of them all.

Not really a particle, not quite a wave,
We never know how Gluon's apt to behave.
For life's complicated, it's not really simple,
When governed by Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle.

Some say he's made up, just a MOAB invention,
A duckdog who lives in the seventh dimension,
And flies here to there faster than Mighty Mouse,
And sleeps in a teserract-shaped duckdog house.

He navigates wormholes to new galaxies
Where live huge duckdog-eating Thingamazees.
Worse than Bandersnatches, much worse than a Snark,
But he frightens them off with an ear shattering "Quark!"

So here's to our Gluon, oh duckdog supreme,
More than an idea, much more than a meme.
The best darned duckdog in the whole multiverse.
Yes, as duckdogs go, we could have done worse.
