Interesting thing. The first time I was in the Canadian Rockies, I was told to wear a bell on my rucksack as the bears hear it and keep clear. A few years later, the advice had changed on account of a sneaking suspicion the bears related the sound of bells to food....

Oy? Who was drunk? I'll have you know I took my evening constitutional in the general direction of the local hostelry in order to partake of a glass of chardonnay and regale the locals with musical culture.   Culture I tells ye!! (And not the stuff that grows behind the gas oven either.)
