"Plucker" English is my Grandfather, my Mom's Dad. His real name is Lester English and had several brothers and sisters. He and his brother used to play a 12 string guitar, one standing behind the other, and NEVER crossed strings. The most phenomenal thing I had ever seen. I know he taught Merle Travis the 5 finger style of guitar on his front porch with Mose Rager, Ike Everly (Don and Phil's dad, and who are my cousins)and a few others.
