Thanks for the extra link, Joe, and for sharing your story. I know little enough about how the human brain works, but I've heard on several good authorities that more neural pathways are working in music than in pretty much another activity and so its integration into personality is so well established. Your story of Christmas and 4th July echoes the stories in the film. I found the film so moving that I sat and cried through it. I hope the it has a wide impact on care of people in residential care - but sadly I have my doubts.
