Thanks, I am starting to understand.. Instead of being a sneaky crook with hidden, nasty views. Trump rides the crest of a wave by being an open bigot and making it a virtue. Darn it, this man is cleverer than I thought.   We have a very similar thing with a guy called Nigel Farage of the UKIP. Some Americans would say "Caent Do No Wrong!"
