Don, don't be too severe with your age. I am "relatively young" (24), and I am very glad that others people share their knowledge here. I never heard the song, or heard of, before. Since I read this thread, I heard it twice this week, by the Weavers and by Bert (?) at the Mudcat Radio. Now I know a little bit about Jim Stevens, Ivar Haglund, John Dwyer, reel to reel tapes and the folk scene in Seattle... Experience and knowledge are like folk music, they need to be told and shared.
