Thread Name: Origins: Love is Pleasin' (Eddie Delahunt)
Subject: RE: Origins: Love is Pleasin'
I believe that the correct title is "Love is Teasing". I think it is Irish.

I first heard it sung by Isla Cameron:

For love is teasing and love is pleasing
Love is a pleasure when first it's new
But as you grow older then love grows colder
Then fades away like the morning dew

I wish I wish but all in vain
I wish I was a maid again
But maid again I never can be
'til apples grow on an orange tree
Etc etc
Can't recall the rest
