I wish I had followed my instincts and gone drekly to the Humber Bridge and then cross country south.
My preferred route after too many jams on the alternatives although the closure of the A15 for an accident made for a senic diversion. Lincoln can be a little slow but A1 was fine from Newark down to Black Cat.
