I should perhaps just mention, for anyone who may have inadvertently got the wrong impression, that this is a Scottish song.  Not Irish.  Mary Black and her brothers seem to have learnt a large part of their repertoire from the Fishers (Archie, Ray and Cilla, mainly) who are from Glasgow.
