I hear the first verse as:

1. My name it is Ben Oppitt(?) and you won't have heard of me.
I live with my wife Mary in a cottage by the sea.
The bloke next door is Billy Biggs who works the promenade.
He's made himself a fortune selling Plenty's(?) lemonade.
I can't afford the things he's got, so I borrow them instead
Last week I felt a proper fool when I broke our double bed

Sounds like "Plenny's" lemonade - but no idea if that makes more sense?
