I once sat through a meeting a work where we were to informally meet and answer questions of a job applicant going through the interview process. I found that the truth of our dysfunctional institution was not being conveyed and had to bite my tongue. I resorted to writing the truthful answers to her questions on a notepad file on my phone and not speaking them out loud. I never go to those meetings any more.

A textbook went in the mail earlier this week. I lowered the half.com prices on all of them to simply move them out of the house. Half Price Books buys/sells textbooks now, so if they don't sell online soon I'll pull the listings and take them to the store. I'm tired of that stack of books on the table.

The china cupboard is looking better and I've cleared the lowest shelf that once had craft stuff and replaced it with more china and silver. The area below the bottom shelf holds a series of 24" tall bins that hold packing materials. I suppose I could put in another shelf, but this suits me for now, packaging materials handy but out of sight.
