I've driven with headlights on for years, especially on highway jaunts. Now my car has daylight running lights as well, and I'm glad. I'm glad that so many cars now do, because too many people DON'T use them in snow, rain, and generally when they should. Now, I'm not concerned about those who drive and don't use headlights when they should, but I do care about those they leave behind, anyone who might be in the car with them, and other drivers. Like motorcyclists who don't wear a helmet I wonder why I should pay with my taxes to keep them in a vegetative state after an accident because of a decision they made with full knowledge aforethought.
