The Wikipedia article illustrates some of the problems with the concept of "passive aggressive". For example it appears to state that controlling one's anger is "passive aggressive" - yet controlling one's anger is something that any civilisation would require, and teaching children that the tantrums so typical of "the terrible twos" are antisocial is an important part of child-raising.
