In the runup to this weekend's Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival, I've not had time for much of anything besides festival work for the past two weeks. But I managed to get another load of culch (but good cultch) to Goodwill yesterday after picking up the printed and folded Programs and before delivering the programs and the volunteers' badges to another board member who was out in the garage updating the sandwich boards that go outside each venue.

I keep trying to sort the rest of the 78s, 45s, and remnants of the LPs so I can call my dealer friend back and convert that cubic footage to small pieces of green paper (with which to pay my electrician and computer tech). I also have to check what's in the roll of movie posters before he comes back. I'll sell him the antique Rte. 4 sign as well.

Next Wednesday will be Tom's (Curmudgeon's) birthday and I again this year don't want to be home. I'm heading back to the Bath/Brunswick, Maine area to rediscover a signed John Just Geyer gravestone I last saw in the early 1980s when I showed it to Tom. I also hope to sell some early edged weaponry (halberd, boar spears, épées, Persian shield, and various knives. If I don't sell them, I'll at least get a better idea of their likely selling price from someone I trust (and maybe an idea of where to sell them).
