Ummm...are you talking about mp3.com, or another mp3 site? mp3, generically speaking, is a compression format not an organization.I guess the bar code is a way of tracking whether your CD is, you know, "legit" in terms of copyright and performance rights...MP3.com puts a bar code on it's artists CD's automatically.
