No teeth pulled. On deck at the correct time, I was informed the anesthesia I need had not arrived, could I come back next week! Psyched up for this event and having driven down 5 hours to be here... SO, I waited to see if it would arrive - by Purolator, the supplier having sent it "regular" instead of the requested "priority"!

It arrived and I waited 'til they had an opening, getting colder and colder, hungrier and hungrier, and tired. STUPID is what happened next: I am on the "chair" with bin, and some stuff to "freeze" the area prior to injections. My head is down hill. The Dr. came int and informed me that I needed to sign a consent. He tried to explain it and show me on the x-ray what he was talking about. He failed to communicate clearly; I was totally confused. He got frustrated and left the room. The helper also left. Then I left.

IMO, the time for an explanation and consent was before I committed to this appointment - last week! I came home and ate, and ate, and ate. And phoned R to tell him, swearing like a trooper and totally furious by this time.

So tired all eve I felt like going to bed but managed to delete emails, check some FB, look up a few things and tell R "There is rice, make yourself "Indian". HE informs me that the dentist phoned him - our usual Treena, not the extractor guy - and they talked, she apologized and suggested a different doctor for my extractions. I am tempted to drive down to my former dentist in SE PA; I know he is trustworthy and knowledgeable about my environmental problems. This one was dumber than dishwater.

Or maybe just live with these teeth until they are more problematic. At least my bank account remains cluttered!
