I finished it last night and agree with all the sentiments above. Very good story and very witty but very sad for all the reasons stated. For anyone who has heard Steeleye Span's album, "Wintersmith", it is good to see that Tiffany resolves some of the things that her character talks about on the track "We shall wear midnight". I shall say no more in case of spoilers :-)
