Back from rendezvous. Faulkner rode back smelling Newbie's presence all the way back to Ohio. Then after a shot visit at the house to reclaim it and smell her all over it, we picked her up at the kennel. She rode in her crate looking friendly while Faulkner ignored her. We went straight to Animal Control to use their big empty classroom for them to sniff noses and decide their pack order. Faulkner snapped her into line and this supposedly dog-aggressive, "unadoptable" dog is happy to have him boss her. It'll be a little tense for a few days but they were totally fine walking together on leash. Tonight they share the LR-- she in her crate and he on his huge dog bed. Tomorrow they scooter together! No projects calling me!
