OH:

Topped out at 3000 steps ydy, after picking up dog poop.

Neighbor Portia and I went a couple of county lines out yesterday, to lunch with a friend, where I was delighted surprised by new GF options and counter knowledge at Panera. Newbie's crate was great sideways, and she tolerated the longish drive very well.

We stopped at one point, using FB to coordinate, to drop a birthday CD off to a new friend hereabouts. Nice parking lot chat about her hopes to relocate to OR (drat!). Nice talk about music therapy (her work) and long range CC plans.

During the drive, i decluttered so e relationship issues with happy result. Once home, Portia's hubby was kind enough to reinforce the dog corner with his superior tools. He went too fast for my superior plan-- I can disassemble, add a brace, reassemble. Newbie liked her new quarters.

Bob also eyeballed a few items about the house's idiosyncrasies-- their home started with an identical (prefab) floor plan. Their numerous reno's mean that Bob knows what's inside our walls. The net result confirmed my plan to move a closet wall to fit a particular cabinet next to the stackable washer/dryer; that hutch offers HUGE, tall and beautiful storage but is 1" too wide for the opening. I had hoped I'd figured out how to get that inch very easily-- Bob agrees. One more thing off my worry list-- that hutch MUST go there. My sister built it. It will become a built-in. Great getting to know Bob better.

Today the NKC get an easy, short project unpacking garden chatchkes. There's time to vac the back bedroom before, and the LR/K after. Kitchen/bath cleaning done except tub vinegar tonight. That leaves a quick swiffering for tmrw AM, and picking up Leslie!
