I'll back up the assessment that "The Birdcage" isn't 'crap'. It's NOT the original, but considering that direct exact remakes of original films are usually abnormally horrid (didja see what they did to 'Psycho'? Didja?), that's probably a good thing.

Robin Williams... Nathan Lane... same film... as lovers... that alone was worth the rental.
