The main thing I always do in this situation is to do a "custom" install instead of "typical." From what I've heard, if you do typical it sets defaults for you that you may not like. You can choose them as you work through the custom setting. Don't like Bing? Then do a custom install. Don't want to have to log on with a Microsoft Hotmail account? Then do a custom install.

I'm going to up updating my next door neighbor's computer this weekend. I told her it was probably time since the first big patch/update had been issued.
