The best (most currency tossed) "buskers" I have witnessed in the EU and USA have always been acousic and vocal.

IMHO...what a street musician gains in range of transmission....is quickly lost via the "noise annoyance factor."

Subtle and soft wins many a touched heart more than loud and blaring.

As pedestrians enter the inner sanctum of the encomphasing earth...we do not want to be MICROASSAULTED by beggars.
