He is, I take it, the son {grandson?] of that minister and his wife,
from Deeside, NE Scotland, who had 28 children, all surviving to adulthood. Thus taking the scriptural advice to go forth and multiply to a new level.
There must have been some multiple births in the family for one man and his wife to achieve such a number.
