Agree with joe, airy mouse that ...saviour of all ...is pretty mainstream theology. Only hardcore Calvinists might quibble , I think. This is because he is potentially the eternal saviour of all, and is actually saviour providentially of all in the here and now world.   I don't actually know the carol but that verse is lovely poetry, so I shall look it up .
