as I live in the suburb where zillions of Sydneysiders & folks from other places congregate to celebrate NYE (& go drinking every weekend), I tend to stay home cos getting back is not easy. Also the crowde everywhere are gi-normous which makes the getting back even harder.

I just might wander out 8.30ish to see if I can get near the closest of the vantage points for the world famous fireworks (live link), but maybe not as I've seen the top of the highest fireworks before over the buildings around my part of the harbour.

I'll probably listen to a few CDs, continue with my backlog of blog articles & maybe get on with a bit of sewing.
