I have spent quite a bit of time looking for a freeware or sensibly priced Video editor. I think I have found one.

Not on my main laptop at the moment but will be in a couple of days if you can keep this thread current.

Incidentally what is the problem with files being saved in a particular format?
There are oodles of good safe free software converters available to download.
