Hey, I think it would be really nice to have the only dating site in the world where you could actually meet someone who was into folk music. A few years ago a friend of mine signed up on some dating sites (don't know which ones they were) but I think they were some well known ones. She told me she had indicated that folk music was her passion and # 1 interest but apparently no matches with the same interest came up for her. I think she said there were some guys who were into country music big time - but none into folk.
Yes, she had other interests but really wanted to meet someone who loved folk music.
Oh yeah, she told me she went ahead and met a few of the country music fans and hoped that they might be into folk but they were not into folk music. I remember she told me that she asked them if they knew the music of Sandy Denny & Fairport Convention and was shocked to find out that these country guys did not even know who they were.
