There was a preacher who wanted to do something different to re awaken his congregation's interest in coming to church.
He announced that next Sunday, he wanted everyone to come dressed in such a way that others could guess the hymn they were thinking of when they dressed up.
Next Sunday, the first to show up was a beautiful, well endowed young woman, stark naked. When asked what she represented she said "Just as I am." Next came a young man wearing nothing but a skirt made of grass and weeds. Preacher asked what hymn he had in mind and he said, "I was thinking of "Bringing in the sheaves, but, if you don't get Just as I am out of here I'll be coming through the rye."
