Hi,

Many, many thanks for replies.

I had already contracted the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library and today they sent me the lyrics which they have as follows:

Come up and see your granny
Come up and see her now
Come up and see your granny
'Cos she's all brand new,

She's got a broken table,
A chair without a back,
A door without a handle
And a window with a crack.

All rather polite and nothing to do with her physical attributes which was all to do with replacement parts which made her "bran noo" in my mother-in-laws version.

Do you know anyone who has a copy of the The Folkways LP, The Cassette or The Biography mentioned in folkopedia.efdss.org above and do any of them have all the words in them? Could they share?

Getting closer!

Keep in touch.

Sue
