ON Normal AVE. I painted our house which had a lot of Gingerbread appointments just like a Pink Lady. NORMAL ave. WAS NO LONGER NORMAL.
The neighborhood was right out of Godfather 1 because it had the exact kind of procession of the holy virgin with money pinned all over it while gambling stalls lined the street. Puppet shows and vendors gave very little room on the sidewalk in front of a very plain Mosque that had some upset looking Muslim men out front.
