On a slightly different note, I am down to a half-empty nest but the one remaining adult child's sweetie is planning on getting snowed in here for the weekend... should be lovely.

And our local fondue place, usually about 15 mn away on foot, is offering free fondue all weekend to anybody who can get there. Might actually do that, should be a good 40-mn slodge then free fondue! All I need to remember is a pair of slippers to wear while I'm indoors.

Anybody else local?
