Just can't be doing with all this Greater·This and Inner·That and Outer·The·Other, and all these innovations. & I didn't actually say it was: simply used the term Lankies, which seems to me a useful sort of blanket-term for denizens of Gtr Mnchstr & Merseyside and all such Nowherevilles which used to be in Somewhere "when this old hat was new" as the song puts it.
