The instructions for setting back to Classic were old Windows instructions and didn't work with the Asus laptop my neighbor is using. But I did finally figure out the problem - the computer had converted to "metro tiles" and windows would only open full sized and not adjust downward. I poked and looked around and finally figured out that the computer had reset itself to "Tablet Mode." She was playing Solitaire and the computer popped up a window offering to reset to tablet mode because it was "easier for games." She was stuck there until we figured this out.

So far Windows 10 looks like a pain in the butt. But I did find and point out that there is indeed a software program that will give the Windows 7 appearance. It seems just a little creepy that you have to go outside of Windows to get the classic Windows appearance.
