The February Monthly Shanty, Forebitter, and Foc's'l Ballad Session will be happening this Saturday, February 20 at The Press Room in Portsmouth, NH from 3:30 to 7:30 PM.

This frigid snap will have snapped back to the unseasonably warm weather -- it's predicted to be close to 50 degrees F. Accuweather says cloudy and mild with rain possible. But at 50 degrees, that's okay! We can sing winter sea songs anyway.

Nick Noble intends to be at the Friday weekly trad session and at Saturday's shanty sing.

I'll have to leave around 7 or 7:15 to see David Surette and Susie Burke at Red & Shorty's, but I'm certain there will be a responsible adult to keep the sing going until 7:30.
