Last summer, I think it was, I watched a documentary on the Yonge Street rock scene of the 'sixties, with a lot of Robbie Robertson, along with others, spinning yarns. Watched it on an AC flight - wondering if anyone would know the title? Anyway, it sounds like Toronto the Good was long gone - at least on Yonge St. - by the '60s .... I didn't hit the strip till the '70s - what a place .... Saw John Hammond, Dizzy Gillespie, Rough Trade and I don't know who else on Yonge St. Oscar Peterson at Ontario Place. Lots of other jazz greats at Bourbon Street and Basin Street ....
