I'm just learning to use PowerPoint at my teaching job and it looks like another nifty expensive toy to grab students' attention and maybe actually teach something. Once they get tired of it, we'll have to get another nifty expensive toy. Personally, while I will find it very useful for introducing some units, I plan to continue teaching music with my guitar and my voice most of the time.
