Hi Guest - me too, it was wonderful!
I had a huge smile on my face for most of it, interspersed with some tears -- and wow, amazing spontaneous applause on several occasions during the film!
And the singing- -
Many weel kent faces recounting their memories of the man -- and they along with plenty others were in the audience!

This is definitely a documentary I want to see again- - it will be touring Scotland, some of the smaller communities, after the film festival -- also some film festivals so might even make it to the Abroad. And it is going to appear on BBC Alba in the Autumn?

There were advance articles about the film in The Herald, Sunday Herald and The National during the last few days -- probably other papers too. I have no idea how to do clicky links- - - - hope someone else can!

NB Al Whittle -- there was a book/ sorta biography about the other Hamish a number of years ago which I expect you could track down
