I just survived a really idiotic accident and it is the most exhilarating sensation of shock fear and thrill

When I was fifteen I was in the school's woodwork lab standing shoulder to shoulder with a friend and we were using a vertically mounted drill. I turned it on and a fraction of a second later discovered I had not removed the key that tightens the drill, when the aforementioned object sailed between our heads and made an impressive dent in the cupboard opposite.

Yes, shock, fear and thrill, I'd agree. Exhilarating? Not that time.
