It is the colloquial names I started off with but the thread has been just as interesting anyway.

I agree dinner is always the main meal of the day, but what do you call it if you main meal is breakfast???

And if Spot thinks bread is called Warburtons his owners are too rich - at our house it's Aldi at 15p a loaf....
