No that's not the tune - John's is a 6/8 tune while the 'Fairy' one is 4/4 time.
I know the tune but would suggest that the best way to find it is to buy the charity CD of John's songs put out some time back.
Gallus Moll gave an indirect way to maybe get hold of one of these a few posts back.
