The dog hair is piling up in the house but the garden calls - we are into the season of nice weather spent outside, rainy weather spent indoors. I don't think we had any snow this winter, and only saw hail one time. We're still in the zone where a late frost could clobber a lot of stuff, so we have our collective fingers crossed here. All of the potatoes are sprouting, onions are in, and seeds are going in this week.

I have some things that didn't sell on eBay, and other things that have waited for a garage sale that just isn't going to happen, all going into the donation bin.

The USPS folks can trash items, no doubt about it. Years ago someone managed to fold a flat box with a hardcover book and jam it into my post office box. There was no way I could pull it past the rim, so I had one of them pry it out from their side, then complained to the manager. He just shrugged and showed it to a couple of people and said "don't do it again." The idea that someone had the strength to bend the book but not the intelligence to know not to do it meant there was a strong stupid person loose on the street. :-/
