Well, even though the Republican Establishment doesn't seem to want Cruz or Trump, they've done their best to smear Hillary since 1992. I think that Sanders gets some support because of his own admirable traits, but I think a number of Sanders supporters at least halfway believe the smears the Republicans have concocted against Hillary all these years.
